Bailey's 1st Birthday

Ellie's friend across the street celebrated her 1st Birthday and Ashley's parents took Ellie to the party, because we were in the ATL. From the looks of the pictures everyone had a good time.

Playing With Grandmama & Granddaddy

Ashley's parents were nice enough to come to B'ham this weekend to babysit Ellie while Ashley and I went to Atlanta for a wedding. Here are some pictures from their visit.

Ellie's Baptism

Ellie had her Baptism on Saturday and we we blessed to have so many family and friends travel to be here with us. Ellie truly is a very loved little girl. The festivities began with a tailgate low country boil Friday night. Thanks so much to my Dad for the great setup and to Mr. Chappie for the cooking help. Saturday we had the ceremony and then a large lunch. Thanks to Mom, Mrs. Serita, and Sa for help with the spread. It meant so much to Ashley and I to have so many of our family and friends take the time and effort to travel to Birmingham for the weekend. Thanks to everyone and we love you all. Simril Shower

Our friends the Simrils are expecting soon and will add to the growing number of babies being born to our group of friends. Last night was their shower highlighted by the passing on of the denim "IT's A GIRL" hat that is now become a tradition.

Promoted to the Big Time

The days of laying around and goofing off are over for Ellie as she has been promoted from the Infant 1 class to the Infant 2 class. Welcome to the bigtime. She now will have a schedule and a curriculum of working on crawling, drinking from sippy cups, and other developmental skills.
