20 lbs

Well it only took 18 months, but Ellie finally hit the 20 1b mark. She had her 18 month checkup on Friday and everything looked good. In other news, Ellie has had a tough week at school with biting. She even got sent to the principle's office one day. However she got an excellent report on Friday and didn't even attempt any bites. The Dr. said he wasn't too worried about it, as she has about 6 or 7 teeth coming in right now. Anyway, hopefully it is just a phase. Everything else is going well in Birmingham. We are enjoying the nice weather and looking forward to a busy month with visits from the McPhails, the Tifts, and then a trip to Augusta for the Masters.

Supper Club

Bourbon and Swervin'?

We were so happy to wake up to this site. Apparently someone was driving way to fast and or they were drunk. As you can see from the skid marks they had to be going at least 50 mph to skid this far. Luckily hitting the mailboxes slowed them enough to keep my truck from getting smashed in. Thanks to whomever the kind driver out there who demolished my mailbox and then drove off.
