Our Blog

This blog spot is primarily a photo/memory album for our family. It also serves as a way for us to share what is going on in our lives with our friends and family that don't see us on a regular basis. Ashley, Worth, Ellie, Emma, and Mack

1st Day of Preschool

Today Ellie and Emma had their first day of preschool. Ellie in the 4 year old class. Emma in the 2 and 1/2 year old class. They both had a great morning according to their teachers. We weren't really worried about Ellie, but I was relieved when Emma walked right into her class and didn't have a meltdown when I left her. The same teacher has Emma that had Ellie when Ellie was in the 2 and 1/2 year old class, and she agrees that their personalities are TOTALLY different. I'm so proud of my sweet, growing girls!
Ellie looks terrified in this picture

Ellie jumped right into her seat to start her craft with her friend Holden (sitting across from her)

Sweet sisters

Worth snapped this picture this morning before church. Emma actually let me put a bow in her hair and left it there all morning! They are excited to soon meet their newest sibling.

Awaiting the Caboose

We are patiently awaiting the arrival of the baby. I'm full term now (37 weeks) and could go any day. I'm not feeling like it will be this week though. I'm very comfortable and actually have no complaints at this point. This has been a VERY different experience than with my first 2 pregnancies. I hope it doesn't mean that the baby will come at 41 or 42 weeks- I don't think I can wait that long! I can't wait to meet this final Bowers baby! I've posted some pictures of the nursery, it is still a little bare, but I know once we find out the gender, it will fill up quickly. Ellie seems excited about having a new sibling. She thinks it will be another sister (that she wants to name Mackenzie?!) Emma could care less at this point. Emma does like to kiss my belly a lot though, which is really sweet. She has no idea what is about to hit her!

Thankfully we didn't have much to do, since the nursery was already still set up for Emma. We just painted the walls green and changed the decorations to Winnie the Pooh!

A girl outfit and/or a boy outfit to wear home from the hospital. Which will it be????

Ultrasound picture - sorry for the glare

Terrible picture but I was trying to show the Winnie the Pooh map I found on ebay on the wall behind the chair

Close up of map

Need some stuff to fill the shelves! Baby get here soon!

The infamous swing. Hopefully this baby will love it as much as Ellie and Emma did!

Me at 37 weeks. Getting huge, but feeling great!
