Our Blog

This blog spot is primarily a photo/memory album for our family. It also serves as a way for us to share what is going on in our lives with our friends and family that don't see us on a regular basis. Ashley, Worth, Ellie, Emma, and Mack

July 2023

Lots of fun was had in July! Tons of beach, time with family, and some time together at home. The summer went by WAY too fast. We sure hated to say goodbye to July. It was really hard to narrow the pictures down for this month. I left out a ton, but I hopefully summed it up well enough.

We started off our July at the beach with family on SSI!

Mack mastered the boogie board this year.

SSI family beach photos were not nearly as windy as the Ft. Morgan ones.

Visiting in Granma and Papa's condo.

Papa with all of his grand babies.

Emma living her best life.

Suntan cutie

Ellie even posed up for us!

Top Gun crew at your service.

Banks and his muscles.

Emma and Ford. The fight between the girls over holding Ford was daily.

We had to seek shelter back at the condo due to lightening on the beach, and the kiddos were literally strangling each other.

My sweet girls on Bennie's night.

We survived July 3rd night at Bennie's.

We started off our July 4th with the Sunshine Run. Worth, Mack, Bo, Jay, and I ran the 5K. The rest of the crew ran the 1 mile.

Ellie pushing at the end.

Everyone that ran except Bo. He wandered off before the picture and we didn't even notice!

It was a hot run, but these kiddos did great. Mack is still taking about his 27 minute time for the 5K.

The OG Tift crew

The Shipwatch pool area turned out to be a great photo back drop.

Aunt Telie and Uncle Dale came down to stay the week with Mama and Daddy and I'm so thankful they did. They were a huge help for Mama.

Sweet Grandma and Papa

At the end of our trip, we were able to celebrate Mia's birthday. We had a Mexican dinner, some homemade peach ice cream and couch time for everyone!

After we got back from the beach it was Grandma's birthday. Mack and I took her and Papa out to lunch to her favorite place in Valdosta - Friends. The girls were on a church trip so they couldn't make it.

Another July celebration was our 18th wedding anniversary. We celebrated with dinner the night before due to Worth being on call for our actual anniversary.

We headed to Jefferson to stay with the Tifts for a night. Daddy had an appointment with his neurologist in Athens, so I tagged along with them to attend the appointment. The Bowers kids were in love with Ford and Hardy's toys.

My kids fought over poor Ford's push toys. I'm glad Hardy and Ford were willing to share.

Even Ford enjoying pushing Emma.

As soon as we returned to Valdosta, it was time for Mack to get his pads for football this season. It will be his first time playing tackle.

I just felt the need to document a section of Ellie's room. She told me it was "cleaned up"

We decided to take a few more days and go to SSI before school started. Pool time was every afternoon!

They did clean up well for dinner out one night.

We hit Summer Waves water park one day and this is the only picture I got the entire time we were there. I was busy riding water slides with this crew.

After summer waves, we headed over to Driftwood Beach to check it out.

The trees are crazy. It's like a big tree graveyard.

The 3 amigos checking out the Jekyll shoreline

Me and my eldest.

I took this picture of Emma, and Ellie edited it. I think it's gorgeous.

These next few pictures Ellie took and edited. She had the best time doing Driftwood Beach photography.

She did so good taking these pictures.

Another Ellie original

While Worth and I rested in the sand, Ellie was busy having fun with my phone camera.

Our final day we spent on the beach one last time before school starts!
