Our Blog

This blog spot is primarily a photo/memory album for our family. It also serves as a way for us to share what is going on in our lives with our friends and family that don't see us on a regular basis. Ashley, Worth, Ellie, Emma, and Mack

March 2024

March was filled with lots of golf, Easter fun, family and friend gatherings, and not a moment to catch our breath. I wouldn't have it any other way. These pictures are ALL out of order, but I'll caption them so it's clear where they are coming from.

Golf was the centerpiece of March. Emma was playing for the Vikings, and Worth played with the Member Guest at VCC with E.W. This was the Friday night gathering of the tournament. I think we clean up well.

The Member Guest tournament is basically a week long event. This was our crew after coming home from tthe Wednesday night event for members only.

Meanwhile Emma and her partner were busy winning a scramble golf tournament for the Vikings.

Had to get a quick pick of Emma before she headed out to one of her best friend's birthday dinner. She looked beautiful.

Emma teeing off.

Team Bowers brought home the win for the 2nd time at the VCC Paddyshack!

Worth was so pumped

Emma back at it on the course. It wasn't her best year, but she is learning so much! Her team ended up winning region and I was so proud of all of them!

Had some professional ballet pictures taken of Ellie. They turned out gorgeous!

This girl is growing so much as a dancer. I'm floored every time I get to watch her.

We celebrated Easter at St. Anne's again this year. Papa did so good in church and it was such a beautiful morning!

These 3 are growing so fast.

The Easter bunny hopped over to leave some surprises for these 3.

Mack's ELA teacher this year has inspired him to write. He has been working on a "book" almost every night. (He steals my laptop to work)

After Easter service at St. Anne's, we headed back to Grandma and Papa's house to have lunch. I think Mama's table looked beautiful!

Even though the kids are getting older, they still LOVE grandma's egg hunt.

The competition is fierce.

Emma was determined to get the most golden eggs.

This is anothe pic out of order - but Aunt Telie and Uncle Dale came to celebrate Easter with us. They have been the biggest help for mama lately! I'm so thankful for them.

Sunglasses were some of the Easter surprises at Grandma's

Aunt Telie brought Resurrection Eggs and we each read a piece of the story of the Passion in a unique way.

Dividing up their loot.

Graham doing a final check to make sure all the eggs had been found

More craziness with the Bowers egg hunting.

Grandma and Papa reading their part of the resurrection story.

Ellie reading her part.

We ended Easter Day and March by heading to SSI to meet up with all the cousins for Spring Break. I'm not sure what was happening here, but we were all delirious and Mack was the target.
poor kid.
