Our Blog

This blog spot is primarily a photo/memory album for our family. It also serves as a way for us to share what is going on in our lives with our friends and family that don't see us on a regular basis. Ashley, Worth, Ellie, Emma, and Mack

Pumpkin Patch and Raisin Cane

Due to onset of fall sicknesses, I took a little break from blogger. Right now, all the little ones in our house are well and we went to the pumpkin patch last wednesday to pick out some pumpkins. Mack only almost ran into the busy road in front of the patch once, so I feel like we deserve a parents of the year nod for that.

Last Thursday, I got to go with Emma on her field trip to Raisin Cane. Raisin Cane is a farm here in Valdosta that has hay rides, a corn maze, animals, and educational "farm" games for kids. It's always a fun field trip! Emma was not very interested in me being there. She wouldn't even sit beside me on the hayride. We had a great time though, and I got some great pictures!

Mack jumped in a wagon and sat there waiting for us to pull him.

Mary Grace and Emma, they are such sweet little friends

I couldn't resist getting a picture of the back of her head. She just looked so sweet listening intently about all the things that were produced on this particular farm.

Her entire class was mesmerized by the ducks

Corn Angels

This was a water pump that they had to pump to get little ducks  (the plastic bath tub ducks, no real ones) down the pipe.

Emma sitting as far away from me as possible on the hayride. I had to  zoom all the way to get this sweet face in a picture.

She was on a mission in the corn maze.

And, she ended up being the first one out!

Tooth #2

Yes, she's 7 and she has finally lost her 2nd tooth. At this rate, we may still be losing teeth at 13. She was so proud this morning when she pulled it. I can't get over how brave she is, I haven't had to pull a tooth yet. She pulls them all by herself.
