Our Blog

This blog spot is primarily a photo/memory album for our family. It also serves as a way for us to share what is going on in our lives with our friends and family that don't see us on a regular basis. Ashley, Worth, Ellie, Emma, and Mack

Labor Day and more

In the past 2 weeks, we have celebrated another family birthday, had a fun trip to SSI for Labor Day weekend, watched the first UGA game of the season, and been entertained by the #Bowerskids crew. We have not had as many activities/sports going on this fall. Ellie and Emma opted out of volleyball this fall, and it has honestly been nice to have an easier afternoon schedule. Mack is playing flag football but so far only has practice once or twice a week. Games should start at the end of the month. Here are pictures from the last 2 weeks:

My parents have been quarantined because my mom had a breakthrough case of COVID. Thankfully,  with some rest and antibody treatment, mom got better quickly and Daddy never got it. After they came out of "jail" as mama called it, we headed up to Tifton to see them and celebrate Daddy's birthday. Mama had Mack's birthday gifts since she didn't get to see him on his birthday.

A fun outside game is always a good option for Mack.

Grandma always has a silly card that makes their day.

It was Daddy's 73rd birthday on Sept. 1st. We didn't have a "3" candle so we improvised. His favorite- Angel Food Cake.

Daddy had a ball posing with the kids for these pictures.

We headed to SSI for Labor Day weekend to hang out with the Bowers Grandparents. Mia got some good morning snuggles from these 2.

The ocean was a little too cool for this crew, so they had more sand time this trip.

We cheered our Dawgs  (on TV) on to a 10-3 victory over Clemson for the opening game of the season!

These 3 are just getting so dang big!

I had to throw in some out takes of our family picture. This sums up how trying to take a family photo normally goes.

To finish off the long weekend, the Bowers kids came up with, practiced, and performed a play for us. Leonard even had a cameo.

Complete with costumes and staged fighting

I think Ellie was the bad guy.

These crazy kiddos never cease to surprise me with their creativity. I'm soaking up these last few moments of them wanting to do stuff like this together.
