Ellie (and other Bowers) Updates (updated with pic)

Ok, so I'm tired of waiting on Worth to post all of the new and exciting things that Ellie is doing, so I'm doing it myself. Worth is a little busy with work right now, so he honestly hasn't had time. First of all, we are completely pacifier free now. It is really sad (and embarrassing) to say that my almost 2 year old was still using a paci at night, but when you have a child that is 9 months old before she sleeps all night - you'll resort to any measures to be able to function at work the following day. Ellie has only really gotten the paci at night, but as of this Friday - no pacifier. She didn't even cry or care!! Ugh! If I would have known it would have been that easy, we would have taken it away a year ago!

In other developmental areas, Ellie decided to tee tee on the potty two times this weekend. She just looked at me and smiled so big the first time she did it. She wasn't quite sure what had just happened. It was hilarious! I got so excited about it, I forgot to show her how to wipe! Oops!

Also, keep Worth in your prayers! He had his first job interview in Valdosta, GA on Friday July 16th (our 5 year wedding anniversary). It went well and it looks promising. I think we are all experiencing a little anxiety and excitement as we anticipate what the next year holds for us.

P.S. I've been trying for the last 45 minutes to load some updated pics and the mac is not cooperating for some reason - maybe I don't know what I'm doing?! Anyway, I'll post pictures after this weekend. We will be in Athens for Uncle Amos's big graduation day!!!
