Doughnuts with Dads

This past Thursday was "D" week in Emma's preschool class. During "D" week they have a Doughnuts with Dads get together for the kids to eat doughnuts with their dads and to perform a few songs for them. Of course, for my kids, having a Dad that is a physician makes it really hard for them to get together at an 8:30am breakfast gathering. After missing Ellie's 2 years ago and me having to fill in with 4 week old Mack and 2 year old Emma in tow, my Dad offered to come and go with Emma this year. My mom got several cute pictures and some great videos of the singing. Once the singing is done, the dads are asked to step up with the children and sing one of the songs with the kids. It is always so cute, and the dads are all freaking out because they have to dance and sing with their kids. It's hysterical! Fortunately, for the Dads this week, my mom didn't pan the camera out and only filmed Emma and her papa.
