Our Blog

This blog spot is primarily a photo/memory album for our family. It also serves as a way for us to share what is going on in our lives with our friends and family that don't see us on a regular basis. Ashley, Worth, Ellie, Emma, and Mack

June 2023

The summer is in full swing! June has come and gone and left us with some fantastic memories. The kids had a variety of camps this month, and then there is our annual UAB beach trip - which never disappoints. Tons of pictures can't do justice for the fun that was had this June 2023.

These 3 started the month off at Kirby Camp in Athens. It was Mack's first time there and he had a BLAST. I think it made it so special to be with his cousins to experience it.

Kate was a trooper getting the boys to camp everyday and taking some great pictures.

They got to meet Kirby as part of the initial camp day. Mack was in awe.

What a great experience for this little Dawg fan!

Next up was the trip to Ft. Morgan. We had the car packed to the max! We almost didn't have room for the kids!

Boiled peanuts are the priority once we arrive. Worth and the boys get these cooked the first night. this year it was 70lbs worth of peanuts.

The early risers enjoyed breakfast and a card game every morning.

You can't beat the boogie boarding in the gulf!

It looks chaotic, but this is the most relaxing area! I read a book, had great conversations, and enjoyed music with fun drinks and my favorite people sitting in this space.

Crab Hunting Night!

The dads are such good sports to take the kids out. It surprised us this year how the bigger kids were more into it than the younger kids.

More card games...

and utter silliness!

No worries, he had on sunscreen! :)

My 3 cuties are getting so big!

Shrimp Boil night had to be moved inside due to high winds and bad weather outside. It was still so much fun!

The big girls!

The ice cream truck was a hit the days it showed up

The hole digging became a competition this year.

Emma got the golden "5 nutter" peanut.

The dads made fun "mocktails" for the kids. Ellie found a cute use for her umbrella.

Worth found himself an umbrella also.

Family pictures is 35+ mph winds.

Our crew! The kids are growing up so much!

Sweet, sweet kiddos!

The reason we all get together!

The mamas that keep the houses together while our husbands are at the hospital all of the time.

I spy a cute teenager.

After we got back, it was Father's Day. I had to go get in a quick visit with Daddy.

We had a great visit.

We had dinner for Worth, and this is the best picture I got of him opening his gifts.

Early the following Monday morning, the girls headed off to Camp Awanita with our church youth group.

Mack had basketball day camp while the girls were gone. He admitted missing them so much the week they were gone.

My girls weekend was up next. 27 years of friendship in this picture!

The last week of June, Mack and Emma headed over to SSI early with Mia and Dubs. They competed in Drive, Chip, and Putt. Thankfully they had a great time, because they definitely didn't do their best in the competition.
