October 2024

 It is January 2025 and I'm finally having a few moments to make the October 2024 post. It's been a wild couple of months, and October was when it really cranked up. Maybe over the next week or two  I can get caught up on my blog posts. 

While our power remained out at home from Hurricane Helene, we stayed a week at SSI. Lauren, Bob, and their boys, Sam and Cater came and spent a night with us for a change of scenery. 

Lauren's boys are Mack's age and they all had a great time playing together. Emma even kept up with them. She's had practice with all of her boy cousins. 

It was a perfect beach day! 

Emma and Worth worked hard on a puzzle and finished it. 

Fall Break we were able to get away to a UGA game.

With post hurricane evidence (empty gas cans for the generator) we finally got power back and had a nice evening outside by the fire.

Basketball season started for Emma!

Ellie had her National Beta Induction. We are so proud of her! 

Mack's football team won the championship! The Bowers kids were killing it in October.  

Mack wanted to be Kirby Smart for Halloween this year. 

I took these knuckleheads trick or treating in the neighborhood. They ate candy as fast as they got it. Emma was so mad she couldn't trick or treat. She had an away basketball game. Ellie had dance and Worth was on call so they were also unable to join us.
